Problem:
One in ten children in Argentina is born prematurely, which means they have to spend many days in incubators, away from their mothers.
Smell is the most developed sense for babies, and it's crucial that they can sense their mother's scent to feel calm and increase their chances of survival.
Solution:
We created a robe, made from the same material as Huggies diapers, that collects the mother's scent and transforms it into a blanket to accompany the babies inside the incubators.
This mother’s scent provides them with a sense of security, warmth, and love, significantly increasing their chances of survival.
